Margaret Newman joins New Hampshire NRCS as Accounting Technician

Please welcome Margaret Newman who has joined the New Hampshire Natural Resources Conservation Service staff as an Accounting Technician in the Durham State Office.

Margaret Newman - Accounting Technician with New Hampshire NRCS
Margaret grew up in Durham, New Hampshire, where she attended Oyster River High School, and later attended McIntosh College in Dover, New Hampshire.  Over the years, Margaret has worked for the New Hampshire Department of Revenue, in Concord, New Hampshire, the Vermont Service Center in St. Albans, Vermont, and the Department of Homeland Security, Debt Management office in Burlington, Vermont.

While living in Vermont, Margaret and her husband David became foster care parents, and adopted one of their foster care children.

Just recently, Margaret and David decided it was time to leave Vermont and return to New Hampshire, where they have always felt was home (and not so cold!).  So, she left the Department of Homeland Security and came to work for NRCS!

Margaret and David have three daughters, two grandchildren, one grandchild on the way, and currently reside in Lee, New Hampshire.  Margaret’s hobbies include camping, fishing, and motorcycle cruising with her husband.
