New Hampshire RC&D Receives Top Honors

New Hampshire North Country Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) was recognized with three awards at the 2008 New England Regional RC&D Conference. The conference is held annually to showcase area RC&D Council’s projects as well as facilitate communication and feedback on Council projects. This years’ conference, held in Mystic, Connecticut on October 23rd-25th, proved to be a milestone in the North Country RC&D council’s 40 year history.

About the North Country RC&D Area Council

The North Country Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Area Council was established in 1968 to address problems and opportunities in New Hampshire's "North Country", encompassing the counties of Belknap, Carroll, Coos and Grafton. North Country RC&D, with office located in Laconia, New Hampshire, is part of a national network of more than 375 locally directed RC&D Councils authorized and assisted by the United States Department of Agriculture.
