New Hampshire Farm and Ranch Lands Protection Program Documents

These documents require Adobe Acrobat or Microsoft Word.

The following documents provide eligibility criteria and information on how to complete applications, along with other valuable information for conservation entities wishing to participate in the program.

 Workbook for Preparing Applications 2007
This is an 8-part fillable form, asking questions necessary when applying for FRPP cost-share support.  This workbook can serve as a checklist to insure applications are complete, or, an entity may submit a completed workbook as the application.  This form is optional.  Any application format will be accepted, however, if a format other than the workbook format is used, it is necessary for the Application Checklist to be completed and forwarded with each copy of the application.

Application Checklist
This document lists all of the pertinent information that should be included in an FRPP proposal.  This checklist requests the page and paragraph number where specific information can be located in the application.  This form is required if the application does not follow the workbook format. Applications submitted using the Workbook format do not need to complete this form.

Closing Checklists
This document identifies all of the FRPP records, approvals and signatures that need to be submitted to NRCS prior to the day of closing.  A second checklist identifies all closing documents that must be forwarded to NRCS after the day of closing in order to have FRPP funds approved for payment to the conservation entity.

Appraiser Disclosure Statement
All FRPP appraisals must be completed according the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and the Uniform Appraisal Standards for the Federal Land Acquisition (Yellow Book Standards).  The appraisal must be completed by a Certified General Appraiser licensed to practice in the State of New Hampshire.  The appraiser must provide a disclosure statement.  This document provides suggested language to go into the disclosure statement.

FRPP Ranking Guidelines: 2007
This document lists the ranking criteria used to evaluate applications and determine the recipient of FRPP awards.  Funding will be offered to the top ranking proposals, in order, starting with the highest ranked application, until all funds are exhausted.
