Conservation Engineering
 NRCS Engineers help the
NRCS field staff
provide engineering planning and design assistance to customers.
Engineers design complex structures to meet the conservation
objectives and insure they comply with current standards and
specifications.
In addition to design work, engineers provide
guidance and technical references as part of our conservation
engineering assistance. Many of our NRCS
Engineering-related references and methods are included in the Field Office Technical Guide,
which is now an on-line reference tool through eFOTG.
